You can do basic preset, scene and channel selection on the Axe-Fx 3, but setup has to be manually done for now. I'm actively working on support for bidirectional communication, I hope to have something available in a couple of weeks.

It’s BETA though so expect some possible bugs. Cliff released some (most) of the MIDI SPEC in this firmware. You can also view the spec here:

Yes, I know about all that. I have been a Fractal Audio user since the beginning. This is the 4th unit I have owned and know all about the resources. I am focusing on the integration between the RJM Mastermind GT22 and my new Fractal Audio Axe-FX III. I am looking forward to the two-way communication and at least being able to transfer all the presets to the GT22, like I could do with the Axe-FX II. I'm sure it will all be worked out soon and I am excited about the new possibilities.

David - Just trying to help. BTW- We are all focusing on the integration between the RJMMastermind GT22 and the AXE III. Glad to hear you have had 4 units. I’ve had 3, guess I have to look up to you.

I am still excited about using the GT22 with my Axe-FX III. I know it must be getting closer...
