Stereo signal equals two volume pedals???

Going out of the Effect Gizmo as mono signals to two amps...then the effect returns of both amps into a stereo Gizmo input. In order to insert a volume control prior to the signal going through stereo effects like the Strymon Time Line and Big Sky, do I need one or two volume pedals?

You would need two volume pedals, or better yet, a stereo volume pedal.

That is what I thought. I'm trying to figure out a way to use a midi controlled volume pedal...then use an expression pedal connected to the MMGT to manipulate it. The only ones that I am finding are mono...which means I will need two. I'll have to continue my searches...or just run extra cables to the MMGT rig.
