Strange Strymon Effect Delays

So i'm still fairly new to the PBC..so I'm hoping this is something easy.

Everything is functioning great as far as MIDI and presets and all that goes. But my Strymons (big sky and timeline) are doing something super weird every now and then...the actual effect is delaying. So when I strike a string to trigger a reverb on my BigSky, for example, the reverb will not trigger for a second or so later. Sometimes, it triggers right with my attack like its supposed to...but sometimes there is the delay. Anyone else ever experienced this? Any thoughts??

and obviously, this only started since I hooked them up to my PBC. Hence the posting on this forum.
 
UPDATE: Ignore me please haha. Just figured it out. I am running a Quartz Timer and I had the presets on the bigsky set to midi clock...so they were triggering with the next beat of the BPM. Turned off midiclock...now is prefect.
