Strymon + MIDI + Sunset & Rivera

Ron,

Strymon just released info on controlling these via MIDI. Looks like a MIDI to TRS cable connected to the EXP jack. How would you best integrate these into a PBC? Could MIDI be achieved via the Function switches, or would these MIDI > TRS "patch" cables be necessary to route them inline with other MIDI devices?

You will need Strymon's adapter cable, function switch outputs are not able to output MIDI.

Thanks Ron. Here's a blurb from Strymon's support page.

"On our pedals equipped with a 1/4″ TRS MIDI connection (Riverside and Sunset), the MIDI data is received by the pedals from the TIP of this connection. When MIDI OUT or THROUGH is enabled on these pedals, the MIDI data is sent out of the pedal from the RING of the TRS connection."
