Strymon multiswitch for ext switch jack?

With my Strymon Timeline I also purchased one of their multiswitches. I was thinking as I integrating the timeline into the PBC can I use the strymon multiswitch (which is TRS) with the ext sw input? Or will I need one of the RJM multiswitches? In the manual it states that the switch must be of the monentary type to work. Ultimately I want to program the multiswitch to pull up the play, stop and overdub for the looper function on the TimeLine.

I'm not sure about the Multiswitch - it has three switches connected to a TRS cable, so it's definitely not a standard switch. I'd say it's very unlikely to work as an external switch for the PBC. However, there's no reason why you couldn't just plug the Multiswitch into the Timeline and use it for looper control while the PBC helps with the program changes.
