Tempo Button

Hi,

Is there a way to have a button which can change the tempo? If I wanted to hit a button that sends a message to change to a new tempo within the preset is it possible to do through a sysex?

I'm thinking for songs that have tempo changes to include within a set of scenes or even a page that you can pick different tempos for songs without writing it into a preset.

Currently, there's no way to specify a new tempo by number without changing presets. Definitely something that should be added in a future release...

There's a list of sysex's that can be used to control the axe's tempo. Works when adding a sysex to a button

Ah, I didn't know about that! That will work because the Axe-Fx manages its own tempo, and tells the GT's tempo button when to flash. It wouldn't work with other devices like Strymon and Eventide (unless they also get the ability to receive tempo by Sysex).
