Two PCB 10s together

I'm putting together a board using two PCB 10 working in conjunction with one another. I'm wiring it so that there will be 12 mono and 8 stereo pedals. To that end I was going to hook up the two units this way:

Guitar -> Unit 1 input 1 -> Unit 1 out 5-6 (insert) -> Unit 2 input 1 -> Unit 2 out 5-6 (insert) -> Unit 1 input 7-8 (insert) -> Unit 1 output L/R -> Unit 2 input 7-8 -> Unit 2 out L/R -> amps

Any problems with this approach? This routing is to preserve the stereo image of the stereo effects at the end of the chain.

On a side note, I would prefer to setup the presets using the PC editor. Is there any way to get the editor software to see two units or will I have to connect only one at a time?

Thanks in advance for any input.

You should be able to do that. I don't see any problems once you get the cabling all dealt with.

You'll have to configure each PBC individually, the editor doesn't support connecting to more than one PBC at a time.
