Unorthodox stereo setup - Can it be done?

I have 2 amps I'd like to run in stereo; a Laney IRT Studio 15w head (has 3 good channels and an FX loop), and a VOX Pathfinder 15R (no loop and the boost channel is not really useful). I'd use the overdrive/lead sounds on the Laney but use dirt boxes for the VOX. The catch is I'd like to use a compressor before splitting the sound to the 2 different amps. I also use a Line 6 M5 and move it around for different presets as it does great whammy, wah, overdrive, reverb and Leslie sounds. I guess what I'm saying is can I send a line out but it return as a stereo return? Or is this a parallel situation? Of course, it'll need to end up as a stereo out. I intend to run the M5 stereo, as well as a DD500 and HOF. I don't think I've explained this very well. Incidentally, I'm running a PCB 6X.

I've tried to construct this diagram:

Laney IRT Studio - Return - HOF - DD500 - M5 - PBC return - Laney IRT Preamp -
^
VOX Pathfinder 15R Input - HOF - DD500 - M5 - PBC return - MI Crunchbox - TS5 - PBC Send - Compressor - Guitar Input

Hope this helps. Keep in mind I like to move the M5 around. Is it possible?
