Using GT16 as remote for PBC

Ron, I am thinking about getting a GT16 as a remote for my PBC. I have built a great pedal board but it is rather large and in smaller venues, I could put it in the back line and use the GT. I have seen other threads that describe this usage as not quite the same experience as using the PBC directly. I use the PBC in setlist mode with not more than 5 presets per song. I also have external expression controller and 2 button footswitch which enables my Strymon timeline and mobius and brings up local pages for them. Will I be able to have this setup on the GT 16 I would also add some dedicated IA Buttons to the 16 since I would have the extra buttons. Thanks

Yes, you can do that for sure. If you want to keep the option of using the board without the GT, copy the presets, songs and setlists to the GT. The GT can send program changes to the PBC to call up its presets. You can also set up IA buttons on the GT to directly control PBC loops if desired.
