voodoo lab pedal power 4x4

Hi there,

can I power the mastemind gt with my pedal power 4x4 by voodoo lab? Would I need the red or a normal connector?

The Pedal Power 4x4 doesn't supply enough current for the Mastermind GT, unfortunately. Generally speaking, multi-output supplies like the Pedal Power series are not going to be able to power the GT.
 
Hi Ron

I tried powering the GT from one of the high current 12v dc outputs of the Pedal Power 4x4 and it powered up fine.

Is it still not advisable to run it like this? This method also removed some noise from my pedalboard going into the Effect Gizmo.

Only tried it for a minute to be safe anyway
 
I don't recommend doing that long term - the GT definitely exceeds the current draw that the 4x4 is stated to handle. It might work for a while, but probably would overheat pretty quickly.
