Y-Not Switch Jack Query

I'm probably being a bit dense here (Monday's a 12+ hour day for me), but basically I'm looking to use my Y-Not in such a way that the A output is always on, and I step on a footswitch to turn on the B output. If I'm reading the manual right, a single footswitch just connected to the RING connector of a TRS jack should do this, right? If I leave the TIP connector disconnected, then A will always be active. For this particular application I have no need to ever turn off the A signal, just sometimes add the B signal to it.

Hi Martin,

Yes, I believe it should work that way. We're so sold out of Y-Nots right now that I don't even have one to use for testing, but that's the way it was designed to work!
