Hi Ron and all....I have recently changed amps from a Mesa MKV to a Laney IRT Head and was wondering if I can convert the old MKV cable into one I can use with the IRT...my idea is to use the existing cable minus the little plastic box gizmo and just add a 5 pin DIN to the other end to go into...

Just had another fiddle about...have switched the GM2 to another audio loop and it's still the same...so the loop is fine...I also noticed that when I turn 'off' the GM2 via it's front power switch I still have the same problem?!?...there's a definate small volume/tone drop happening...

yep plenty of level...the MLM is in the serial loop and thus acts as a kind of master volume for the amp....the Boss unit shows no loss when switched in but when the GM2 is switched in there is a slight drop in volume and the tone changes a little?....it's weird! :D

So I guess this is like a Mastermind with an RG16 inside with a few extra bells and whistles added!....looks good to me Ron. :o) Paul

Get the dedicated cable it works seamlessly with the RG-16 and the MKV....the Mastermind is a wicked midi controller also! :)

Got my MKV head and the new MKV cable and it works really well...it's great to be able to use the MKV's solo function and not have to set up a boosted patch on the GM2...I love my RJM kit! :D Paul

Hi Ron, I'm looking to upgrade my MKIV to a MKV head....I don't suppose it's possible to rework my MKIV cable to work with the MKV head?...it's just that I have noticed on my dealers website (Gary @ Soundsgreat) here in the UK that they are out of stock on the MKV lead...looks like they have all...

I'm hardly 'Elite'....I'm just a regular hard working guy that likes to have decent kit....nobody is forcing you to buy RJM, as nobody did me!

Yep a huge loss....I'm really gutted...he was a great influence for many people.
