AXE FX3 switching back to previous preset

I think that's what you're going to have to do, then. You're getting program changes back from the Axe-Fx, and that's telling the GT to switch presets, which triggers that preset button. Telling it to ignore incoming program changes is the only way you're going to stop it.

I'm not sure what to do because I'd like Poll state to be on.
Ignore incoming PC turned off solves the changing of presets
Poll state off solves the random button pressing.
I've made a short video demonstrating what is happening with Ignore incoming PC turned of and Poll state turned on:

In the bottom row you can see that it stays on the same preset. So it's weird that the data from the poll state triggers a button right?

Not weird at all, that's what Poll State does. Twice a second, the GT asks the Axe-Fx "what's changed"? The Axe-Fx responds, and the GT changes its current preset, scene and buttons based on what the Axe-Fx reports.

There seems to be something in your Axe-Fx configuration that's causing this. Notice how, when you press the Scene 3 button, the CLEAN button turns off. This could only come from the Axe-Fx switching to a different preset. Or, at least, reporting that it had switched to a different preset.

After you press Scene 3, what preset does the Axe-Fx's screen show? And what does the GT's screen show? (I can't read it in the video)

Hmm, interesting I've turned poll state back on and it's not switching back and not triggering that button. I did found that button/IA is turned on in the global preset but I'm not using that preset. But for now, it is solved. Thnx.
