It's done! (Or at least ready for beta testing!)
The Mastermind GT Editor version 0.5 is ready for a few brave souls to give it a spin and try it out. I've posted a little video introduction here:

Anyone who wants to beta test is welcome to give it a try. You don't even need to own a GT to try it out - those thinking about buying a GT might want to look at the editor to get an idea of what the GT can do.
Some important notes:
- You need version 1.1.4 (or later) of the GT firmware installed. This version is available on this forum.
- You need Win7 or Win8 on a PC (Vista MIGHT work, but is untested). On a Mac, Lion or Mountain Lion is required.
- BACK UP YOUR SETTINGS FILES!!!! Both you and I would be very distraught if a software bug wiped out your GT settings. I recommend writing the settings to a flash drive directly from the GT, and keeping that copy safe.
- You can read and write .rjs files with the editor, or can connect directly to the GT, connecting the "USB B" connector on the GT to one of your computer's USB ports.

UPDATE 5/23/2013!
Version 0.6 is now available. The changes are:
- Support for new devices and parameter in MMGT firmware 1.2b1
- Fixes bug that made the editor not want to talk to a GT running 1.1.5
- Fixes some bugs in the device page - editing the device manufacturer and model didn't always give the expected result
- Fixed type registration on the Mac so that double clicking on a settings file will load the file correctly in the editor. PC version is not fixed yet.

UPDATE 6/8/2013!
Version 0.7 is now available. The changes are:
- Added support for firmware 1.2 beta 2 - display dimming, extra button colors, bold fonts and accented characters
- Fixed a bug in displaying grouped buttons on the Preset screen
- Added a separate "Show Page" option on the preset screen. The "Show Page" control lets you set which button page is shown when you select a certain preset. The Page - / Page + buttons under the button display let you view all of the 16 button pages, but do not alter which page is associated with the preset. These functions used to be combined, which turned out to be annoying!
EDIT 6/10/2013: Forgot to mention that you can now insert line breaks into button labels. Use a backslash '\' character to force a line break, and tilde '~' to do a line break with the second line inverted in color (like we do on the Page / IA Store button)

PC: http://www.rjmmusic.com/software/MMGTEditor-0.7.0.zip
UPDATE 6/18/2013!
And the updates keep coming! Version 0.8 is available.
- Added support for firmware 1.2 beta 3 - (remote mode)
- Added buttons to the device page that allow quick setup of the PCs that are sent to the device with each preset. You can initialize all PCs to "no preset", the device's first preset (0 or 1), or to sequential (preset 1 sends PC 1, preset 2 sends PC 2, etc.)
- You can now use arrow keys to move through preset, song, setlist and other lists and the screen will update the way it's supposed to.
- Fixed errors in drag and drop for presets, songs and buttons that would cause other settings to get messed up
- When moving through the preset list, the virtual GT display does a better job of updating the on-screen preset buttons.
- Fixed the names of external switches
- Fixed PC action display to take PC offset into account.
- Restrict the range of contrast sliders to a more useful range
- Fixed the handling of the filename when double clicking on a settings file (Mac only)

UPDATE 6/22/2013!
Okay, now we're at 0.8.1 - a minor update that adds two more parameters in GT 1.2, plus one bug fix: using the "Set Preset PCs" on the Devices page would not update the information on the Presets page.

UPDATE 7/19/2013!
Version 0.8.5. This one fixes scenes support for the Axe-Fx, adds an "Open Recent" menu item and fixes some bugs in editing global buttons. The PC version now has a proper installer, and you can now open an RJS settings file simply by double clicking on it.
